Worship is something we can do individually, but God places special importance on believers worshiping together. Sunday mornings at Immanuel is a great place to come together to celebrate everything that is happening in our body. We take time to hang out with each other, break bread together (communion), worship together through singing and learning about our Savior, as well as spend time praying for each other.
You will find that Immanuel is a place where you are welcomed the minute you enter by people who genuinely love Jesus, and want to show his amazing love to others. You can come in, grab a cup of coffee, find your seat, and enjoy a time of reflecting on the greatness of God as well as his amazing love.
The purpose of worship at our church is not just about music or what takes place within a musical aspect of worship. It’s about living a life of worship 24/7 - at our jobs, in our relationships, our financial stewardship, the way we spend our time AND the communion of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Therefore, I urge you brothers (sisters), in view of God’s mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.
